Placement Process

Placement Process

The placement process at DJAME begins quite early, at the start of the second year of studies. Students expecting to graduate and desirous of availing the placement services of the Institute are required to furnish their resumes in the prescribed format within a stipulated date.

The resumes of the students are compiled in the form of a placement brochure which also showcases the Institute – its vision and mission, resources, faculty and the quality of education that it provides. The brochure is mailed to past and prospective recruiters with an invitation to visit campus for placement.

Upon receipt of information from recruiters about their requirement, a list of eligible candidates is prepared and sent to the recruiters for final short-listing. The recruiting companies then visit the campus for conducting their selection process.

On being selected, the companies are required to furnish an offer letter to the students with clear details about the roles and responsibilities of the position for which a student has been selected and also the remuneration package.

If recruiters wish to conduct pooled interviews in which candidates from other B-schools are also to be invited, this requirement can be accommodated provided enough time is available for the institute to inform other B-schools nearby.

A student is allowed to participate in as many interviews as desired but would have to withdraw from the placement process once two offers have been received. This norm is however subject to change depending upon circumstances.
